Steve Thrailkill-ing It!!!

Thursday, December 9th, 2010

Local Vista CA based photographer Steve Thrailkill has taken like a fish to water to say the least. The 21yr old has only been shooting for the past 3 yrs, however his photography has already graced the pages of Surfer Magazine, Surfing Life Australia and been featured on Surfline.com. Thrailkill describes his love of the ocean and photography as “there is no better feeling in the world then being in warm, big barrels with my camera and waterhousing.”

He continues on to say “traveling the world, exploring new places, finding big barrels, and making new friends along the way is what I enjoy most. With every wave comes a new adventure. Life is one big adventure, live it to its fullest potential, spend it in the ocean.”

Here at Rhythm we are stoked to have a young and talented artist on our side and have recently used one of Thrailkill’s shots of US team rider Skyler Stokes for the up and coming 150th issue of Eastern Surf Magazine. In his closing word’s Thrailkill shot’s out proudly “to all the guys at Surfer Magazine and to JP for the help along the way.”

Peace.
