i am a sucker for road trips, even those involving a 6.5 hour drive from los angeles to utah.

so an invite for a spontaneous mission to zion national park could not be turned down.

the days were spent trekking through the park on hikes i questioned if i would make it back alive from.

the nights were spent drinking way too much whiskey in the comfort of the cabin we rented.

on our way back home we swung through valley of fire state park in nevada to wander around yet even more rocks.

this gallery is a taste of what my camera captured over the course of those three days.
