Brandon Asraf and John Tacon collectively make up the duo Brick+Mortar. Since their inception back in 2008 in their hometown of Toms River, NJ, Brick + Mortar have destroyed Seaside Heights boardwalk honky-tonks, surf festivals in Virginia Beach, tiny indie clubs in Philly and Brooklyn and the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, headlining and opening for bands such as Galactic, River City Extension, Cymbals Eat Guitars. Brick + Mortar are set up to open for emo-legends Jimmy Eat World on XXX at Jersey's seminal rock venue, The Starland Ballroom.

What started off as a couple of middle school friends playing drums and bass improvisation has evolved into two 20-something "brothers" writing songs that are interwoven with compassion, realness, and outside of the box artistry, songs that make people realize that what Brick + Mortar are doing right now is unlike they've ever heard before.
